Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of on-site activities for data center HVAC projects in Johor Bahru.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in HVAC, air conditioning, or mechanical engineering projects is an advantage.
• Good technical knowledge and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Good teamwork and coordination abilities.
• Able to work at project sites when required.
• Candidates who can commence work immediately will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities on-site.
• Assist in project administration, cost control, scheduling, work progress monitoring, and quality assurance.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates and reports.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure activities are completed according to schedule.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and relevant authorities.
• Prepare safety documentation and commissioning-related documents.
• Coordinate on-site delivery, installation, and commissioning of precision cooling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of site-related issues.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by management.
