Job summary

Gateway Search is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our Cloud and Application Services team. In this customer-facing role, you’ll work closely with customers, sales teams, delivery teams, and AWS specialists to shape and position application transformation solutions.

You’ll design scalable, secure AWS architectures, develop solution proposals, architecture documentation, and cost models, and lead technical workshops, demos, and proofs-of-concept.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AWS application solutions for customers.
• Experience in a pre-sales or customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and sales teams to understand business needs and translate them into solution concepts.
• Design scalable, secure AWS application architectures.
• Develop solution proposals, architecture documentation, and cost models.
• Lead technical workshops, demonstrations, discussions, and proof-of-concepts.
• Apply Java development expertise with modern frontend technologies.
• Embed DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and secure development.
