Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to design modern AWS application solutions in a customer-facing role. You will partner with sales and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure architectures and compelling proposals.

You will apply Java development experience with frontend know-how, embed DevSecOps practices, and contribute to end-to-end solution designs for enterprise customers in a fast-evolving cloud landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience designing application solutions on AWS in a customer-facing or presales environment.
• Strong knowledge of application development using Java (primary) or .NET (secondary), with exposure to modern frontend frameworks.
• Understanding of AWS services and ability to design cloud-native solutions.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD and container-based deployments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

The role

Are you passionate about designing modern application solutions on AWS? Do you enjoy partnering with customers and sales teams to shape solutions that solve real business challenges? Are you excited to combine application development, cloud, and DevSecOps in a customer-facing role? You will be part of our Cloud and Application Services team, working closely with sales, delivery, and AWS specialists to design and position application transformation solutions for enterprise customers. The Pre-Sales Solution Architect supports the design and positioning of application development solutions on AWS. This role works closely with customers, sales, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and practical solution approaches.

Key responsibilities

What we need to see from you
