Job summary

LinkAxia Networks is seeking a Pre-Sales Manager – Application & Data Security (Mandarin Speaker) to bridge sales, customers, and delivery teams in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role focuses on designing technical proposals, BOMs, and high-level designs for security solutions, and leading pre-sales activities including PoCs and RFx responses.

The candidate will align solutions with client budgets, ROI expectations, and vendor licensing, while keeping up-to-date with product roadmaps and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Mandarin/Chinese-speaking proficiency with ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers and partners.
• 7+ years’ experience in IT pre-sales.
• Experience designing technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and High-Level Designs (HLDs) for IT security solutions.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and RFx (RFP/RFI) responses for security deals.
• Ability to align technical solutions with budgets, ROI, and vendor licensing models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and respond to RFx (RFP/RFI) for security-related opportunities.

• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned product portfolios, staying current with product roadmaps and industry trends.
• Independently manage and own pre-sales cycles with minimal supervision.
• Conduct training sessions for resellers, partners, and internal teams on product offerings.
• Collaborate effectively as a team player with sales, delivery, and partner teams.
• Demonstrate a quick learning aptitude to master new products and solutions rapidly.
• Show high motivation and drive to exceed targets and continually grow expertise.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with application and data security products such as Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, or equivalent.


• Familiarity with cloud security solutions (e.g., AWS Security, Azure Security Center, or equivalent).


• Experience supporting channel partners or resellers in a distribution environment.
