Job summary

SolveIT Consultant is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager – Application & Data Security for a permanent role in Malaysia. You will bridge between sales, customers, resellers and delivery teams, and develop in-depth expertise in our security product portfolio.

You will design solutions, prepare proposals and BOMs, run PoCs, give product demos, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to show ROI and feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years in IT Pre-Sales, ideally in Cybersecurity / Application Security.
• Experience with Technical Proposals, HLD, BOM, RFP/RFI/RFx and Tender submissions.
• Hands-on product demos, workshops and PoCs for security solutions.
• Strong ability to align solutions with customer budgets, timelines and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Address technical objections and demonstrate solution feasibility, ROI.
• Conduct product training and enablement sessions for partners and resellers.

We are currently looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Manager – Application & Data Security for a permanent opportunity.

Position: Pre-Sales Manager – Application & Data Security
Location: Malaysia
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: RM 12,000 – RM 18,000 Basic + Attractive Commission Scheme

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical bridge between the Sales team, customers, resellers and delivery teams.
• Develop in-depth expertise in the assigned Application & Data Security product portfolio.
• Analyze customer requirements and design suitable security solutions.
• Prepare Technical Proposals, High-Level Designs (HLD) and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Handle RFP/RFI/RFx responses and tender submissions.
• Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations and workshops.
• Lead and manage end-to-end Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
• Work closely with vendor/principal Sales Engineers and internal technical teams.
• Address technical objections and demonstrate solution feasibility, scalability and ROI.
• Conduct product training and enablement sessions for partners, resellers and internal teams.
• Stay updated with market trends, product roadmaps and competitive solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT Pre-Sales, preferably within Cybersecurity / Application Security / Data Security.
• Strong experience in Technical Proposal, HLD, BOM, RFP/RFI/RFx and Tender submissions.
• Hands-on experience in conducting Product Demos, Workshops and PoCs for Security solutions.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements, security solution design and technical validation.
• Ability to align solutions with customer budgets, timelines, ROI and vendor licensing models.
• Experience working with Sales teams, technical delivery teams, vendors and channel partners.
• Vendor certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
• Independent, proactive and able to manage the complete Pre-Sales cycle with minimal supervision.
