Job summary

LinkAxia Networks Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable sales engineer who can function as the technical bridge in the sales cycle. You will qualify leads from a technical perspective, present products, run POCs, and tailor demonstrations to customer needs.

You will prepare BOMs for RFQ/RFP, answer questions on features and integration, and coordinate with the principal, sales and product teams. A degree in CS/IT and strong network security knowledge are required, along with good English and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of DNS & NFS, SMTP, HTTP and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of firewall, network security, encryption and authentication technologies.
• At least 3 years relevant working experience.
• Good command in spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication and presentation skill.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel around Klang Valley.

Responsibilities

• Qualify sales leads from a technical point of view.
• Conduct skillful sales and product presentations by elevating the right sales pitch.
• Handle Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and product demonstrations.
• Conduct Technology Update to the customers.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submission.
• Be the main technical resource to answer and educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Liaise with principal, internal sales team and product team to align solution design with customer's requirements.
