Job summary

Hirehub Group in Klang, Selangor is seeking a capable Pre-sales Solutions Architect to translate customer requirements into robust data center solutions. You will design end-to-end architectures, prepare technical proposals, and engage in tender activities with clients and consultants.

The role requires 3–5 years in pre-sales or related technical fields, strong English communication, and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 3–5 years in pre-sales or solution architecture.
• Hands-on Data Center project experience preferred (ICT, networking, power, cooling, ELV).
• Strong design, architecture, and project requirements understanding.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, tender responses, and technical docs.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop end-to-end architectures, designs, configurations, and proposals.
• Prepare presentations, RFP/RFQ responses, tender documents, and pre-sales materials.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales to support business development and tender activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure feasible solutions.
• Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical clarifications during pre-sales.
• Review specs, drawings, BOQs, and requirements to recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Provide technical support during tender evaluation, negotiation, and clarifications.
• perform other technical duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Engage with customers to understand their business, technical, and project requirements, and translate them into suitable technical solutions.


• Develop end-to-end technical architectures, solution designs, system configurations, and technical proposals based on customer requirements.


• Prepare technical presentations, solution proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, tender documents, and other pre-sales materials.


• Conduct technical discussions, presentations, and solution briefings with customers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.


• Work closely with the Sales team to support business development, opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and tender activities.


• Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with project requirements.


• Participate in customer meetings, site visits, technical clarification sessions, and project discussions throughout the pre-sales cycle.


• Review customer specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements, and recommend appropriate products, systems, and solutions.


• Provide technical support during tender evaluation, negotiation, and clarification stages.


• Perform other technical or pre-sales duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.


• Minimum 3–5 years of pre-sales, solution architecture, system engineering, or related technical experience.


• Hands-on experience in Data Center projects is highly preferable;involving data center infrastructure, ICT, networking, power, cooling, ELV, or related systems also preferable.


• Strong understanding of technical solution design, system architecture, and project requirements.


• Experience in preparing technical proposals, tender/RFP responses, solution presentations, and technical documentation.


• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.


• Willing to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and project-related activities when required.


• Experience working with consultants, contractors, system integrators, or data center operators is an added advantage.
