Job summary

Vertiv (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Customer Engineer – Power to join the Global Service Team.

You will provide on-site technical support, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and emergency response for Vertiv Power systems while upholding safety and quality standards. You will report to the Service Centre Assistant Manager, support SLAs, and travel across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in data center, critical infrastructure, or power systems.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Service Centre Assistant Manager and support service commitments and SLAs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for Vertiv Power systems.
• Diagnose faults and provide timely technical solutions to minimize downtime.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records after each assignment.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and provide field support as assigned.
• Travel across Malaysia to support customer sites and work overtime when required.
