Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Service Engineer in Malaysia to provide after-sales technical support across transformer, RMU, ACB and related equipment. The role includes installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, maintain documentation, and participate in on-the-job training for customers and dealers as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of field experience in service or testing
• Understanding of Eaton’s capabilities and selling techniques
• Knowledge of products, markets, channels and applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide after-sales technical and services support, including installation, testing, commissioning, repair and maintenance
• Maintain records and communicate with design management and specialists to resolve problems
• Act as single point of contact for service contracts and drive additional sales in those contracts
• Ensure timely, professional responses to technical service inquiries and support customers on equipment startup and operation
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and product teams to improve service quality and processes
