Job summary

PortNav Marine Agencies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Operations Executive and/or Manager to oversee port agency functions, crew immigration, and vessel support services.

The role requires coordinating with pilots, tugs, and port authorities, ensuring timely crew changes, hotel and transport arrangements, and adherence to regulations. The ideal candidate has 2 years in port agency operations or similar, strong administrative skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in port agency operations or similar in a shipping company.
• Understanding of maritime industry and port regulations.
• Business-level English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment (round the clock).
• Strong administrative, planning, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• In-charge of all port formalities (arrange pilotage, tugs, port clearance, etc.).
• In-charge of all immigration formalities for sign on and sign off crew.
• Ensure applications for crew changes are submitted timely and correctly.
• Arrange hotel accommodation and transportation of crew.
• Follow up on latest regulations of the authorities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, surveyors, technicians, repairers, etc.
