Job summary

Eng Kah Enterprise Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all production machines, ensure readiness for trials and new product runs, and manage spare parts and machine records.

You will participate in audits, implement corrective actions, maintain emergency systems and support safety through risk assessments and ergonomic checks. SPM qualification with at least 2 years' experience is required.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or above with 2+ years related experience.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines.
• Commitment to safety, audits and calibration processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all production machines.
• Manage spare parts, external repairs and machine records.
• Ensure machine readiness for production trials and new product runs.
• Manage internal/external audits and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and inspect emergency systems (sprinklers, detectors, extinguishers).
• Be part of OSHA team, conduct risk assessments, ergonomic checks and ensure safety compliance.
• Address calibration issues and ensure equipment standards.
• Assist in onboarding, technical training and safety briefings.
• Provide data and reports for production performance.
