Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Shipping Planning & Coordinating professional to optimize production plans and shipping arrangements in our Kedah region. You will base schedules on customer orders and sales demand, aiming to minimize production loss and inventory risk while ensuring timely order fulfillment.

You will work closely with production, warehouse, sales, and logistics teams to arrange shipments, coordinate with China counterpart if needed, and maintain high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Diploma or higher preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules according to operational requirements and order priorities.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time completion of production targets.
• Arrange timely and accurate shipment of finished goods according to production completion and customer order requirements.
• Coordinate order release and warehouse outbound processes with sales and warehouse teams.
• Ensure proper confirmation and communication with sales personnel regarding shipment arrangements and delivery schedules.
• Effectively allocate logistics and operational resources to support smooth shipping activities.

The Shipping Planning & Coordinating is responsible for managing production scheduling and shipping arrangements to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and timely order fulfillment. This role focuses on optimizing production plans based on customer orders and sales demand while minimizing production loss and inventory risk.

Key Responsibilities

Production Scheduling & Planning

Develop and manage paper mill production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules according to operational requirements and order priorities.

Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time completion of production targets.

Shipping & Logistics Coordination

Arrange timely and accurate shipment of finished goods according to production completion and customer order requirements.

Coordinate order release and warehouse outbound processes with sales and warehouse teams.

Ensure proper confirmation and communication with sales personnel regarding shipment arrangements and delivery schedules.

Effectively allocate logistics and operational resources to support smooth shipping activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with production, warehouse, sales, and logistics teams to ensure operational efficiency.

Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve scheduling, inventory, and shipment-related issues.

Maintain good customer service standards and support customer relationship coordination when required.

Job role :

They shall regularly coordinate with the salespersons and the leaders of the production plan, and shall issue a notice as soon as possible in case of any production change.

According to the market layout and the proportion of regional sales tasks established, and in light of the time of customer orders, the production and delivery of customer orders shall be arranged fairly.

The quality and quantity of relevant departmental statements shall be guaranteed and timely submitted.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional or equivalent.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong negotiation skills.

Able to communicate well in Mandarin will be added as an advantages as need to liaise with China counterpart.

Experience in Manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
