Responsibilities

• Track production progress against WO planned.
• Advise operation team on day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• Monitor and address issues impacting ship date, lead-time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinate with major customer programs and startups as needed.
• Coordinate with Master Planning Scheduler on life cycle and materials availability.
• Drive planning process improvements in Order Management.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate and approve product releases based on material and capacity.
• Provide input to management and reschedule production in case of design changes or shortages.
• Support inventory control, supply chain management, and scheduling as needed.

Planner is responsible for managing the production and inventory planning process to ensure efficient operations and the timely delivery of products. This role involves analyzing demand forecasts, coordinating with various departments (such as procurement, production, and logistics), and creating detailed plans that align production schedules with customer demand. The Planner plays a key role in optimizing production flow, minimizing inventory costs, and ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled on time.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Track production progress against WO planned.
• Advises operation team regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
• Coordinates with Master Planning Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
• Drives planning process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
• Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability. Release work order accordingly and close work order timely.
• Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• May also support inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
