Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate order fulfillment, create work orders, and align production with delivery targets. You will work with sales, purchasing and production to establish lead times and ensure shipments meet customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year of related experience, and the ability to lead, adapt schedules, and handle weekend work if required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• At least 1 year working experience in related field is preferred.
• Candidate with semiconductor equipment manufacturer background is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders from sales & customer service team and generate the work orders with reasonable plan to meet target delivery date.
• Establish general lead time with production and purchasing to ensure orders able to ship out on time to customer.
• Issue purchase requisition and other forms for customer orders purpose.
• Creates production schedule and prioritizes the orders according to delivery dates.
• Maintains the production schedule and follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
• Expedite operations and material that delay schedules, and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Interacts with sales & customer service team and Purchasing when required to resolve delivery issues.
• Liaises with sales & customer service team to determine customer requirements.
• Monitors project's progress to ensure it's following the schedule.
• Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization.
• Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date.
• Oversees planning and production workflow to ensure every process operating according to established sequences and lead times.
• Ensures the execution of planning objective and interfaces with purchasing, customer service, logistics, and receiving in order to fully coordinate customer shipments.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure.
