Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced Production Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities ensuring on-time delivery and optimal resource use.
You will monitor schedules, work with procurement, warehouse, quality, and sales teams, and maintain planning reports and SOPs. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in production planning, ERP/MRP proficiency, and Bahasa Malaysia/English skills; Mandarin is a plus.

Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization.
Monitor production schedules and adjust plans based on customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.
Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and sales teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Prepare and maintain production planning reports, work orders, and inventory records.
Analyze production data, capacity, and material usage to improve efficiency and reduce shortages or delays.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support continuous production operations.
Work with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely material delivery.
Identify production bottlenecks and support corrective actions to improve productivity and delivery performance.
Ensure production plans comply with safety, quality, and operational requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and planning records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, or a related manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and scheduling processes.
Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage to communicate with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement tools is an added advantage.
