Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Demand Planning professional to manage customer orders, update schedules, and coordinate with Production and Material Control to ensure on-time delivery.

You will review forecasts, support production planning, and collaborate with Sales, Inventory, and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy. Strong Excel and ERP experience required; bilingual in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field is required.
• Experience in demand planning, production planning or related areas is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.

Job Responsibilities (Demand Planning role)

Manage customer orders and coordinate order changes and delivery schedules.

Act as the main point of contact for customers on demand planning and order-related matters.

Review and analyze customer forecasts to support production planning and demand management.

Update delivery schedules in the system and coordinate with Production Control and Material Control to ensure on-time delivery.

Work with internal teams to resolve issues affecting production and shipment schedules.

Maintain accurate customer order information, including ETA, ASN, and invoice records.

Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure sufficient materials are available for shipments.

Collaborate with Sales, Inventory, Material, and Production teams to improve demand planning accuracy.

Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Perform other planning-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, Mathematics, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in contract manufacturing (CM), supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience in demand planning, production planning, customer order management, or supply chain operations is preferred.

Proficient in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, IF, IFS, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables.

Experience using SAP, WMS, or other ERP systems.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Able to work independently, multitask, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
