Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Planning professional to plan daily and weekly schedules, coordinate across departments, and ensure timely production and delivery. The role emphasizes material availability, schedule adjustments, and proactive communication with Sales, Purchasing and Admin teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in production planning or manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in a relevant field is required.
• 1–2 years of production planning or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good planning, coordination and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; SQL Accounting experience is a plus.
• Be responsible, organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders, delivery requirements and production capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Purchasing, Store/Warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor production progress and follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Review material availability and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure sufficient raw materials for production.
• Adjust production schedules when there are changes in customer requirements, material availability, machine capacity or production conditions.
• Monitor production output and highlight delays, shortages or issues affecting delivery schedules.
• Maintain and update production planning records, schedules and related reports.
• Liaise with Sales/Admin on order priorities and delivery requirements.
• Assist in inventory planning and monitoring of raw materials and finished goods where required.
• Perform other production planning and coordination duties assigned by management.
