Job summary

INSPUR COMMUNICATION MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and monitor schedules for data centre construction projects in Cyberjaya.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to collect progress updates and align with milestones. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 3+ years in project planning, with proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or construction management.
• Experience in data centre construction projects is highly preferred.

Job description

Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules for data centre construction projects. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to collect progress updates and ensure alignment with project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Track project progress, identify schedule delays and potential risks, and provide timely updates to the project management team
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, schedule updates, and performance analysis
• Review construction programmes, resource plans, and work sequences to support effective project planning and execution
• Support project teams in developing recovery plans, mitigation measures, and revised schedules when delays or changes occur

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, or construction management
• Experience in data centre construction projects is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other project scheduling software
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and time management skills, with good attention to detail
• Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage, especially for communication with Chinese-speaking project teams
