Job summary

SDMK is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate daily production schedules, aligning with customer build plans and delivery targets in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia. The role focuses on meeting customer requirements and coordinating across internal teams.

You will monitor production output, inspect finished goods, provide feedback on delivery and quality, and support sales in achieving company goals while maintaining on-time delivery and KPI adherence.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in budgeting and resource allocation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan the daily production schedule based on the customer's build plan
• Ensure the production plan aligns with customer orders and meets on-time delivery targets
• Liaise with customers regarding new orders and delivery requirements, and coordinate with internal departments accordingly
• Provide feedback to internal departments regarding delivery, quality, and production output
• Inspect finished products and conduct testing to ensure compliance with customer specifications, contract requirements, government regulations, and relevant standards
• Communicate customer expectations to internal teams effectively
• Ensure production output meets customer expectations and communicate any issues proactively
• Coordinate with internal teams to address customer requirements
• Support internal sales in achieving company goals
• Conduct root cause analysis when daily production targets are not met
