Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to optimize the sheet metal fabrication process. You will review drawings and BOMs in the ERP system, release work orders, and monitor production to meet delivery timelines.

Collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing and Doc Control is essential to ensure on-time document releases and smooth production flow. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–5 years of planning experience in welding and sheet metal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Supply Chain / Engineering / Business or related field.
• 2-5 years of planning experience in welding and sheet metal processes preferred.
• ERP knowledge and basic MS Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Understand sheet metal fabrication process flow and review drawings/BOMs in ERP.
• Release Work Orders, schedule production, and monitor activities to meet delivery timelines.
• Review BOM and summarize raw materials to purchase.
• Coordinate daily production shipments to finishing and assembly sites and ensure timely document releases.
• Plan and review schedules to maximize machine capacity and meet project schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve material issues and ECN changes.
• Prioritize production schedules to meet urgent project timelines.
• Update Production Master Plan and OE Summary for open orders.
• Release jobs for Job Traveler printing.
• Manage jobs affected by ECN changes and other production adjustments.
• Comply with ISO standards and maintain safety practices.

Must understand the process flow for sheet metal fabrication process.

To review Drawing and BOM in ERP system.

To release Work Order & schedule to production and monitor production activities to meet delivery timelines.

To review BOM & summarize total raw material to purchase.

Coordinates production daily shipment arrangement to finishing and assembly sites. Communicating timely with Engineering & Doc Con to ensure all document release on time for production activities.

Plan and review schedules to fully utilize machine capacity and to meet project schedule. Communicate with Purchasing department to resolve potential pull in/push out or raw material related issues.

Perform Production Schedule Prioritization when needed to meet urgent project schedules.

To up-date Production Master Plan & OE Summary for all open orders.

Release Jobs for Job Traveler Printing.

To process jobs affected by newly released ECN (additional part/qty, reduce qty, delete part, modification, etc...).

Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain / Engineering / Business or equivalent years of related experience.

Preferably 2-5 years of working experience in planning of welding and sheet metal processes.

Know ERP and Basic Microsoft Office applications.
