Job summary

JointHire Singapore Pte Ltd client in Singapore seeks a Production Planning professional to ensure accurate work orders, maintain planning records, and coordinate with purchasing for material readiness. The role supports the Production Supervisor/Manager and requires independent communication.

The position is based in Malaysia (Buroh area) with standard hours and medical benefits. Proficiency in Excel and Navision is preferred, and familiarity with MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or related field with planning focus.
• Minimum 1 year of production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Navision knowledge preferred.
• Independent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work orders from engineers are accurate and timely.
• Maintain accurate production planning records.
• Issue purchase requisition orders for subcontracting, plating, heat treatment.
• Coordinate with purchasers to ensure material availability for secondary processes.
• Assist in planning with Production Supervisor/Manager.
• Follow up on production orders and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Ensure work orders received from Engineer are accurate and timely manner
• Maintain accurate production planning record
• Issue Purchase Requisition Order for Subcon / Plating / Heat treatment
• Coordinate with purchaser to ensure timely availability of raw material and parts for secondary (plating / heat treatment) process
• Assist in working with Production Supervisor / Manager on planning or scheduling
• Follow up closely on production order and work closely with relevant department
• Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any engineering others filed related to planning and job arrangement
• Minimum 1 year experience in Production Planning preferably in manufacturing environment
• Well versed in computer skill especially in excel and other Microsoft office skills and knowledge in Navision is preferred
• Strong skills and experience using Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory and in timely manner
• Independent in communication skills

Compensation

• Working location: Buroh
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 – 17:30), and Saturday (08:30 – 12:30)
