Magma Tooling Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to join the planning and scheduling team in Butterworth, Penang. The role focuses on optimizing production flow, resource allocation, and timely delivery of products to customers.

It is a full-time position based in Malaysia. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in a related field, 2–5 years of manufacturing planning experience, and proficiency in MONITOR G5 ERP and Microsoft Excel.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably production planning or scheduling.
• Experience in data entry or product data management is a plus.

About the role

Magma Tooling Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Production Planner to join our Production, Planning & Scheduling team. This is a full-time position based in Butterworth, Penang. The Production Planner will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and scheduling operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal production flow, resource allocation, and timely delivery of products to our customers. This position is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the broader strategic objectives of our organization.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and planning of Production based on customer requirement.
• Preparation of production schedules as and when required by Sales departments.
• Monitoring the production schedules.
• Overall in-charge of production and communicating with respective departments.
• Providing work instructions for machine operation.
• Responsibility coordinate with Engineering/Sales change order.
• Responsibility to monitor/follow up on production out-put versus plan..
• Responsibility to coordinate with Sales & Engineering for customer order.
• Responsibility to plan for the material to ensure the enough stock to fulfill customer requirement.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or operations coordination.
• Experience in data entry or product data management will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Experience in MONITOR G5 ERP systems, especially in production planning modules.
• Languages: Fluent in written and spoken [English/Malay].
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination abilities across departments.
• Knowledge of production processes, capacity planning.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrates strong ownership, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
