Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Cotebas Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager in Kuala Lumpur to own and optimise campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok and more. You will manage budgets, test creatives, analyse ROAS and conversion data, and collaborate with creative and production teams to scale client and Cotebas campaigns.
The role emphasizes curiosity, experimentation and continuous learning in a fast-paced agency‑style environment with hybrid work and exposure to regional brands.
We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join Cotebas Group and help us grow both our clients’ campaigns and our own businesses.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who already has solid experience in performance marketing, but is still curious, ambitious and excited to try new things.
We’re not looking for someone who simply receives a brief, launches the ads and reports the numbers. We want someone who asks: “Can we make this perform better?” “What else can we test?” “Is there a smarter way to do this?”
If you enjoy experimenting with new platforms, audiences, creatives, technologies and ideas — and learning from what works and what doesn’t — you’ll probably enjoy working with us.
Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
Manage campaign budgets, targeting, media allocation and performance optimisation.
Monitor key metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CPL, CPC, CTR and conversion rates, and turn the numbers into practical recommendations.
Continuously test different creatives, audiences, messaging and campaign approaches to improve performance.
Work closely with our creative, social media, influencer and production teams to develop stronger campaigns.
Provide performance and digital strategy recommendations for both client campaigns and Cotebas’ own businesses.
Support pitches and proposals with media strategy, budget recommendations and campaign ideas when needed.
Explore new opportunities across AI, content, social platforms, digital media and emerging marketing tools.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in performance marketing, paid media or digital marketing.
Strong hands‑on experience with Meta Ads Manager, with experience in Google Ads and/or TikTok Ads Manager.
Comfortable managing campaigns independently from planning to optimisation and reporting.
Good understanding of digital funnels, audience targeting, retargeting, testing and conversion optimisation.
Analytical enough to understand the numbers, but also able to think beyond the dashboard.
Experience in an agency environment is preferred, but not compulsory.
Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio or similar tools is an advantage.
Able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is proactive and curious. You don’t need to know everything.
But you should be someone who wants to keep learning, testing and getting better — rather than relying only on what you already know.
You’ll probably enjoy this role if you:
Like testing new ideas instead of always doing things the same way.
Are willing to challenge a brief when you see a better opportunity.
Follow changes in digital marketing, social media, AI and consumer behaviour because you’re genuinely interested in them.
Can work independently without needing someone to tell you every next step.
Want the freedom to experiment and have your ideas taken seriously.
Are comfortable working in an agency where things move quickly and new opportunities come up often.
Competitive salary based on experience.
Hybrid working arrangement with Work From Home on Fridays.
Exposure to regional brands and campaigns across different industries.
Opportunity to work across performance marketing, influencer marketing, creative production and emerging media.
Space to experiment with new ideas, platforms and technologies.
Opportunity to be involved in new Cotebas ventures from an early stage.
Friendly, collaborative and relatively non‑corporate working environment.
Career development and room to grow together with the Group.
