Job summary

MR DIY TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a capable Retail Operations Leader to oversee a cluster of stores in Malaysia. You will manage performance, develop Branch Managers, ensure SOP compliance, and drive sales and efficiency across the network.

You will analyze KPIs, manage budgets, and coordinate with departments on initiatives, while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, preferably multi-store.
• Strong leadership to manage store teams and drive performance.
• Solid knowledge of SOPs, compliance, and operational standards.
• Proven ability to improve sales, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of assigned stores to meet sales, profitability, and customer service targets.
• Monitor store KPIs, payroll budgets, expenses, and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure SOPs, safety, merchandising, and service quality.
• Lead and develop Branch Managers with clear guidance and direction.
• Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, security, and loss prevention.
• Identify underperforming stores and execute improvement action plans.
• Ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns and company initiatives.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and shrinkage to prevent over/understocking.
• Collaborate with departments on projects and business improvements.
• Prepare performance reports and recommendations for Management.
