Job summary

HID Global Malaysia, based at our site in Johor, is seeking a People Partner to provide real time HR advisory across the full employee lifecycle for 800+ colleagues. You will partner with the local site HR team to deliver recruitment, onboarding, performance, employee relations, and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in HR, experience in manufacturing, and strong collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or similar environments preferred.
• Able to navigate a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with local labour laws and compliance requirements.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advisory across full employee lifecycle for 800+ site staff.
• Manage Recruitment and Selection for direct labor and migrant workers.
• Onboard new and acquired employees with a structured orientation program.
• Implement and monitor performance management practices and development plans.
• Support employee relations and resolve workplace issues with coaching and guidance.
• Assist in HR policy development, compliance, and reporting.
• Collaborate with managers to drive career development conversations.
• Maintain HR records accurately in the HRIS and relevant systems.
• Perform other HR duties as assigned by leadership.
