Job summary

Adecco partners with a well-established manufacturing organisation to hire a Human Resources Manager for its Johor operations. This leadership role focuses on driving people strategies, strengthening HR operations and supporting business growth in collaboration with site management and regional HR leadership.

The role requires 8–10 years HR experience, including 3 years in management or HRBP, and experience in manufacturing is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or HRBP capacity.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• HR Business Partnering: partner with site leadership on workforce planning and people strategies.
• Oversee HR operations, end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Manage employee relations, grievances and industrial relations matters.
• Oversee foreign worker administration and immigration matters.
• Ensure HR compliance with Malaysian laws, ISO and RBA requirements.
• Lead administration, facilities and vendor management, developing the HR team.

Adecco is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation to hire a Human Resources Manager to lead its HR and Administration functions for its Johor operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a key leadership role, partnering closely with site management and regional HR leadership to drive people strategies, strengthen HR operations and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• HR Business Partnering: Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, organisational development, manpower optimisation and people strategies.
• HR Operations & Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee development.
• Employee & Industrial Relations: Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters, misconduct investigations, domestic inquiries and industrial relations matters.
• Foreign Worker Management: Oversee foreign worker administration, work permits, immigration matters, regulatory compliance and employee welfare.
• HR Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation, HR policies, ISO standards and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements.
• Administration & Leadership: Oversee general administration, facilities and vendor management while leading and developing the HR team.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or HRBP capacity.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or industrial environment will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation, employee relations and industrial relations.
• Hands-on experience in foreign worker management and immigration matters.
• Exposure to ISO standards, RBA requirements and customer compliance audits is highly desirable.
• A strong HR leader who can balance strategic business partnering with hands-on operational execution.
