Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a proactive People Operations Intern (Japanese & Korean Speaker) to support HR Service Delivery for East Asia employees in Malaysia. You will assist HR Operations and Payroll across onboarding, inquiries, payroll, and benefits while driving process improvements and service excellence.

The role offers exposure to multinational HR operations, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and hands-on experience in employee lifecycle management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese and Korean (written and spoken) with good English.
• Available for a minimum internship duration of 5 months (5–6 months preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding.
• Collaborate with country HR operations and payroll teams on attendance, leave, and payroll tasks.
• Administer benefits programs and respond to inquiries with accurate information.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR regulations.
• Handle employee inquiries via ticketing system with timely service.
• Identify process improvements and promote standardized HR workflows.
• Support cross-functional teams to streamline HR processes and efficiency.
