Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of HR experience (generalist preferred).
• Familiar with HRIS systems (e.g., BrioHR).
• Good understanding of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Oral communication: modifying communication to the situation and addressing misunderstandings.
• Interpersonal skills: actively listening and providing assistance to others.
• Collaboration: building relationships and working cooperatively with others.
• Planning and organizing: following schedules and timelines appropriately.
• HR Knowledge: basic knowledge of HR functional areas such as Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment, Performance Management, and Training & Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycles (onboarding to offboarding)
• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., BrioHR)
• Support payroll coordination, leave management, and attendance tracking
• Ensure HR documentation is accurate, updated, and audit-ready
• Handle employee queries on HR policies and procedures
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and activities
• Coordinate recruitment process (job posting, screening, interview arrangement)
• Coordinate training programmes (internal / external)
• Track employee training hours and development plans
