Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Solutions Engineer (Sales & Technical) to drive business growth across Malaysia with a focus on Penang. The role blends commercial development and hands-on software delivery, working in a hybrid setup.

You will manage accounts, lead proposals and contract discussions, and coordinate with engineering teams to deploy tailored software solutions and POC prototypes. Requirements include 2+ years in software-related roles and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in a software-related role.
Proven background in technical sales, business development, pre-sales, or solution engineering.
Experience in software prototyping, troubleshooting, requirement gathering, and system deployment.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth and nurture existing client accounts, prioritizing Northern Malaysia.
Identify potential leads, create technical proposals, present pitches, and lead contract discussions.
Conduct client site visits and participate in relevant industry events.
Gather client requirements to design, build, and deploy customized software solutions and POC prototypes.
Provide technical troubleshooting, software demonstrations, system testing, and user training.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams for seamless project delivery and maintain technical documentation.
Keep accurate records of accounts, opportunities, and project statuses.
