Job summary

SUPREME APPROACH SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team on Penang Island. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve on-site issues, performing maintenance and installations with a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will communicate clearly with clients, document work, and maintain inventory while adhering to safety standards and company policies. Travel between client locations using reliable transport is required.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing.
• Proven Field Technician or similar technical service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused service.
• Valid driving licence and reliable transport.
• Physical fitness for varied environments.
• Attention to detail and workmanship standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of technical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs according to company standards and client specifications.
• Install, configure, and test equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Document all work completed, including detailed service reports and maintenance records.
• Communicate with clients to explain technical issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and materials required for field operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies whilst on client premises.
• Respond to service calls and emergency requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and support colleagues when required.
