Job summary

MAP Group (PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk) is seeking a meticulous Payroll Executive based in Malaysia to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for the country. You will maintain accurate payroll records, ensure statutory compliance, and provide payroll support to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-month project contract in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of payroll experience
• Diploma or Degree in a related discipline
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory contributions and taxation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical/analytical skills
• Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across Malaysia, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
• Maintain payroll records, employee data, statutory deductions and payroll documentation
• Ensure compliance with local labour regulations and payroll policies
• Liaise with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors to resolve queries and discrepancies
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and support month-end activities
• Support process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive based in Malaysia to support payroll operations across Malaysia. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll compliance, and providing payroll support to employees and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across Malaysia, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintain payroll records, employee data, statutory deductions, tax information, and payroll documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, payroll policies, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors to resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and support payroll audits and month-end activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of payroll experience, preferably handling payroll operations in Malaysia.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory contributions, taxation, and payroll compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
