Job summary

MAP Group (PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk) is expanding its recruitment team in Malaysia to support hiring across Singapore and Malaysia. We seek a proactive Recruiter based in Malaysia to drive retail store recruitment for Full-Time, Part-Time, and supervisory roles.

You will manage end-to-end processes, source candidates through portals and events, coordinate interviews, and onboard new hires while partnering with hiring managers and recruitment agencies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, business administration or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume environments.
• Experience recruiting for retail store positions is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Recruiter based in Malaysia to support hiring activities across Singapore and Malaysia. This role will primarily focus on retail store recruitment, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and hire talent for Full-Time, Part-Time, and supervisory positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment for retail store positions, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and supervisory roles across Singapore and Malaysia.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
• Source candidates through job portals, social media, recruitment platforms, referrals, career fairs, and other channels.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support retail manpower requirements.
• Conduct initial screening and interviews to assess candidates against job requirements.
• Partner closely with recruitment agencies and hiring managers, providing regular recruitment updates.
• Manage recruitment turnaround time and ensure vacancies are filled within agreed timelines.
• Track and monitor recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, interview-to-offer ratio, and offer acceptance rate.
• Prepare regular recruitment reports and updates for HR and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Singapore work pass administration (Work Permit and S Pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and transfers) will be an advantage.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, hospitality, consumer, or other high-volume hiring environments.
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment independently.
• Experience recruiting for retail store positions would be highly preferred.
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment practices and local hiring channels in Malaysia. Exposure to Singapore hiring practices will be an added advantage.
