Job summary

Tech Harvest is seeking an HR Assistant (Payroll) to support clients with end-to-end payroll processing, statutory contributions, and day-to-day HR administration. You will be a point of contact for payroll and HR matters, helping to build hands-on payroll experience across multiple client companies.

The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and the ability to meet monthly payroll deadlines, with English and Bahasa Malaysia communication abilities to liaise with clients

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Experience in payroll processing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, Zakat) is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with payroll software is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work to monthly payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees' monthly overtime, leave, claims, resignations, and other HR records.
• Process payroll for the company's clients every pay period.
• Prepare payroll reports for managerial review.
• Respond to client enquiries on wages, deductions and other payroll matters.
• Manage and make statutory payments, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and Zakat.
• Check and submit documents for employer registration with EPF and PERKESO.
• Liaise with clients on HR-related matters.
