ASMPT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an HR professional with strong payroll expertise to lead payroll operations, statutory compliance, HR systems administration, and employee benefits in Malaysia.

You will partner with Finance, management, and external service providers to deliver accurate, compliant, and employee-centric HR services across the organization. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of HR operations experience with payroll exposure, familiarity with Workday or Unit4 Prosoft, and a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, BA, or management.
• Minimum 5 years in HR operations with payroll exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing or multinational environment preferred.
• Hands-on HRIS and payroll systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll for Malaysia employees.
• Ensure accurate salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, deductions.
• Perform payroll validation, reconciliation, and pre-submission checks.
• Prepare payroll reports and GL postings for monthly/annual closings.
• Maintain payroll records per internal controls and audits.
• Administer statutory contributions and tax compliance.
• Support HR systems data integrity and HRIS testing.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and permits for foreign staff.
• Administer benefits programs and employee welfare.
• Support audits and drive HR process improvements.
