Job summary

Marsh is seeking a diligent Accounts Payable professional to join our Accounting Operations team in Malaysia. Based in Pavilion Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, you will support daily payment operations, ensure compliance, and assist audits while driving process improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years in AP, strong understanding of controls, and excellent English communication. Collaborative team environment with opportunity for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years in Accounts Payable or payment processing.
• Experience supporting internal/external audits.
• Knowledge of financial controls and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support daily payment operations using e-banking platforms with accurate processing.
• Review payment requests for compliance with procedures and approvals.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and process exceptions with recommended solutions.
• Support manager on escalations and preliminary investigations.
• Assist audit activities: prepare documentation and gather evidence.
• Explain payment processes and internal controls to auditors and stakeholders.
• Help team resolve operational challenges and minimize disruption to payments.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX, tax rules and US GAAP where applicable.
• Support development of internal accounting procedures and process improvements.
• Demonstrate accountability and proactive priority management for time-sensitive transactions.
