Job summary

Marsh Corporate in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Analyst to join the Accounting Operations team. The role is hybrid and based at Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, combining in-office collaboration with flexible work arrangements.

The candidate will support day-to-day accounting, prepare and post journals, manage month-end close, and assist with regulatory reporting. A degree in Accountancy and 3+ years in GL/AP/AR in Shared Service or Insurance are required, with strong Excel and English skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of General Ledger/ Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable transactions in a Shared Service or Insurance environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel Proficiency.
• Good command of English in both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting functions and reporting of financial information.
• Prepares journal and approves offshore journal entries, consolidated statements and client carrier reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve customer accounts/Insurers/Reinsurers issues and attend to queries.
• Perform insurer /customer statement reconciliation and follow-up to clear reconciling items.
• Analyze, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheet accounts.
