As part of its continued growth, the company is expanding its Payment function in Kuala Lumpur. This is an opportunity to join an international working environment and gain hands‑on exposure to payment processing, banking channels, PSPs and cross-border operational activities.
As part of the Payment team, you'll support the smooth, accurate and timely processing of payment and withdrawal transactions across multiple payment channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing and processing payment and withdrawal transactions accurately and within required timelines
Monitoring daily transaction flows and following up on pending, delayed, rejected or exceptional transactions
Supporting payment investigations and resolving transaction discrepancies
Coordinating with banks, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), payment gateways and internal teams on transaction-related matters
Monitoring payment channels and escalating service disruptions or transaction issues when required
Handling payment‑related operational enquiries and providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders
Ensuring transactions are processed in accordance with internal procedures, operational controls and compliance requirements
Supporting reconciliation, settlement and other payment-related operational activities where required
Identifying opportunities to improve payment processes, accuracy and operational efficiency
Depending on your experience, you'll also have the opportunity to:
Take greater ownership of complex or high‑volume payment operations
Work closely with banks and PSPs on transaction flows, settlements and issue resolution
Support payment process optimisation and operational improvement initiatives
Guide junior team members and share operational best practices
We're open to candidates from different financial operations backgrounds. You could be a good fit if you have:
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Payment Operations, Banking Operations, Treasury Operations, Finance Operations, Transaction Operations, Fintech or Financial Services
Hands‑on exposure to payments, withdrawals, fund transfers, settlements, transaction processing or reconciliation
Experience working with PSPs, payment gateways, banking channels, e-wallets or other payment methods will be an advantage
Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, particularly when investigating transaction issues or discrepancies
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a transaction-driven environment
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Good command of English, with Mandarin proficiency preferred to support communication with relevant regional stakeholders
Willingness to support a rotational shift schedule when required
Current operational shifts are primarily on weekdays, with the latest shift ending at 12:00 AM. Shift allowance is provided for the applicable shift.
