Avisena Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Bed Management & Billing Officer to efficiently allocate beds, coordinate admissions and discharges, and handle patient billing and insurance matters.

The role requires careful documentation, strong communication with medical staff, and guidance to patients on coverage and charges. Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in any relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and allocate patient beds according to availability and needs.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges with doctors and departments.
• Handle patient admission, pre-admission registration and deposits.
• Manage insurance matters including GL, co-payment and room upgrades.
• Explain insurance coverage and estimated charges to patients.
• Monitor bed occupancy and maintain accurate records.
• Handle billing, payments, refunds and outstanding charges.
• Perform cashier duties and daily cash balancing.
• Assist patients and families with enquiries related to admission and insurance.
