Job summary

Ummahjobs is seeking a Pastry Demi Chef in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will assist in preparing a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts. You’ll support the Chef de Partie and ensure quality and hygiene standards are met.

The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be passionate about French pastry, and possess 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Basic leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in pastry or related role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Possess own transport to commute to Petaling Jaya.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of pastries and desserts.
• Support Chef de Partie/Head Chef in kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.
• Guide and support Commis Chefs when required.
