Qualifications

• Culinary degree with a focus on pastry or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in pastry roles.
• Pastry skills, creativity, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads and bakery products according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all pastry products have consistent quality, taste, texture and presentation.
• Assist the Pastry Chef in planning daily pastry production based on business levels and operational requirements.
• Monitor the preparation, cooking, baking, finishing and presentation of pastry items.
• Maintain mise en place and stock levels of pastry ingredients.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards and control food costs.
