Job summary

Etex Group is seeking a dynamic Sales & Market Development professional to drive PROMAT passive fire protection solutions in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. You will engage with architects, engineers, developers and contractors to create project opportunities and secure specifications.

You will provide technical and commercial support, build long-term relationships and help grow sales while expanding PROMAT’s market presence across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil/structural/mechanical engineering, architecture or business adminstration.
• 2-5 years in technical or specification sales within building materials or passive fire protection.
• Passive fire protection experience and specification selling preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and market development capability.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to achieve sales, specification and market development objectives.
• Identify new opportunities, market segments and strategic customers.
• Promote passive fire protection solutions to architects, consultants, engineers, developers, contractors and distributors.
• Deliver technical presentations, CPD programmes, and product demonstrations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and commercial submissions for projects.
• Coordinate with distributors and contractors to convert specifications into sales.
• Maintain an accurate project pipeline and CRM records.
• Collaborate with regional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
