Job summary

Promat Passive Fire Protection, part of Etex, seeks a Technical Sales Executive based in Kuala Lumpur to drive specification sales, market development and project creation for PROMAT passive fire protection solutions in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. You will engage architects, engineers, developers and contractors, build strong customer relationships and deliver technical and commercial submissions.

The role requires 2–5 years in technical sales within building materials or passive fire

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering or business with relevance to sales.
• 2–5 years in technical sales, specification sales or business development in building materials or passive fire protection.
• Experience in passive fire protection and specification selling is preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and market development mindset.
• Understanding of project sales and construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Drive specification sales and market development for PROMAT passive fire protection solutions.
• Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales and market targets.
• Identify new opportunities and engage architects, consultants, engineers, developers and contractors.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and commercial submissions for projects.
• Build long-term customer relationships and manage project pipelines in CRM.
• Collaborate with regional teams to expand market presence and ensure project delivery.
