The role includes cleaning, customer assistance, and basic inventory tasks, with a flexible 3–5 day work week. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in Malaysia, and able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Previous experience in retail, fitness, hospitality, customer service or cleaning is preferred, but not required.
• No fitness industry experience is required; training will be provided.
• Able to perform light physical tasks and carry supplies.

• Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables as needed.

• Report equipment issues or operational problems to supervisor.

Position: Part-Time Store Operations Staff
Number of Positions: 15
Work Location: chocoZAP SS15, Subang Jaya
Hourly Rate: RM12/hour
Working Hours: 4-6 hours per shift
Working Days: 3-5 days per week, including weekends/public holidays depending on schedule
Training Start: From 15 September 2026
Work Start: From 1 October 2026

chocoZAP is a convenient and easy-to-use fitness gym brand from Japan, with more than 2,000 locations in Japan. We are expanding our business internationally, including in Malaysia. We are looking for friendly and responsible part-time staff to support the daily operations of our chocoZAP store in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and maintain the cleanliness of the gym, including workout areas, equipment, common areas, toilets, showers and other facilities

Check gym equipment and other in-store services to ensure they are clean and functioning properly

Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries and other consumable items as needed

Collect and dispose of garbage

Assist customers with basic enquiries regarding the gym, membership, facilities and services

Report equipment issues, facility problems, customer incidents or other operational issues to the supervisor

Conduct simple store inspections and complete operational checklists

Support basic inventory management and receiving of store supplies

Assist with promotional activities, distribution of marketing materials and other store-related activities when required

Perform other store operations, cleaning or administrative duties assigned by the supervisor

Training is expected to begin from 15 September 2026, with official work commencement from 1 October 2026.

About you

Must be at least 18 years old

Legally eligible to work in Malaysia

Able to communicate in basic English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage

Previous experience in retail, fitness, hospitality, customer service or cleaning is preferred, but not required

No fitness industry experience is required; training will be provided

Comfortable performing both customer service and cleaning duties, including cleaning toilets and showers

Able to perform light physical tasks, such as carrying supplies, garbage bags and moving cleaning equipment

Basic smartphone and digital application skills

Responsible, detail-oriented, punctual and able to work independently

Friendly and comfortable communicating with customers
