Job summary

chocoZAP is expanding into Malaysia and seeks friendly, responsible part-time staff to support daily store operations at the chocoZAP SS15 outlet in Subang Jaya. Training starts 15 September 2026, with official work commencing 1 October 2026.

The role includes cleaning, customer assistance, and basic inventory tasks, with a flexible 3–5 day work week. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in Malaysia, and able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in Malaysia.
• Able to communicate in basic English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Previous experience in retail, fitness, hospitality, customer service or cleaning is preferred, but not required.
• No fitness industry experience is required; training will be provided.
• Able to perform light physical tasks and carry supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintain cleanliness of the gym, including workout areas, equipment, toilets, showers and other facilities.
• Check gym equipment and in-store services to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables as needed.
• Collect and dispose of garbage.
• Assist customers with basic enquiries about gym, membership, facilities and services.
• Report equipment issues or operational problems to supervisor.
• Conduct simple store inspections and complete operational checklists.
• Support basic inventory management and receiving of store supplies.
• Assist with promotional activities and distribution of marketing materials.
