Rakanda is hiring a Shop Assistant to support the store manager, manage floor operations, and deliver excellent customer service at our Melaka location. You will handle stock reception, display setup, and interact with customers to meet their needs.

The role requires physical fitness, teamwork, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Bahasa Melayu and English communication is essential for daily operations in Melaka.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Ages 18–36.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding products and provide good service.

Job description

The Shop Assistant will be responsible to assist the retail store manager with working the floor, managing inventory, and providing good customer service. The position requires physical fitness and excellent stamina, good interpersonal and strong team spirit.

In this role, you will:

• Receiving, unpacking and arranging newly delivered stocks.
• Assisting customers in finding the products they're looking for.
• Addressing customer complaints and inquiries.
• Sharp, precise, and very careful in handling the job.
• Labelling and arranging goods on the display shelves.
• Hardworking and positive in all instruction given.
• Responsible to retail selling.
