Job summary

Fahrenheit 600 Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a kitchen helper to assist chefs with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean, sanitised workspace.

You will follow instructions, work as part of a team, stay punctual, and contribute to timely dish preparation, inventory checks, and waste disposal.

Qualifications

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as listed in the responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including dishwashing and sanitising surfaces.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a hygienic working environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks in basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and sanitising surfaces and floors.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations including proper storage, temperature control, and waste disposal.
• Support kitchen team during peak hours by expediting orders and replenishing supplies.
• Receive and store incoming deliveries, checking quality and organizing storage.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables properly to maintain cleanliness.
