Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Barista to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. You will prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks to quality standards while delivering excellent customer service.

You should have at least a high school diploma and one year of barista experience; retail or hospitality experience is a plus. You will handle payments, maintain equipment, and follow health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year experience as a barista.
• Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to problem solve quickly.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
• Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings.
• Observe relevant health and safety standards.
