Lovns Group Sdn Bhd is hiring for a Barista/Senior Barista role at Pavilion KL with opportunities to switch among 1Utama, Pavilion KL and Mid Valley. The position requires prior barista experience and a supervisory background, good communication, and a flexible, team-first attitude.

Candidates should be able to work shifts including weekends and public holidays; training and development are provided to stay current with coffee trends.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent; barista certification is a plus.
• Experience as a barista and Senior Barista / Supervisor is a must.
• Good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Team player and able to work under pressure.
• Primary location is Pavilion KL; may switch between 1Utama, Pavilion KL and Mid Valley as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and resolving complaints.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and balancing the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; restock inventory as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Stay updated on coffee trends and participate in training to improve skills.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and resolving complaints in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments, making change, and balancing the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including wiping down counters, washing dishes, and disposing of trash.
• Restock inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Stay updated on new coffee trends and products, and participate in training sessions to improve coffee preparation skills and knowledge.
