Hiring: Personal Assistant to Managing Director (PA to MD)
Our client, an established engineering company, is looking for a mature, organised and highly responsible Personal Assistant to Managing Director to provide close support in managing the MD’s business and day-to-day matters.

Salary: RM5,000 – RM10,000

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, appointments, meetings, reservations and daily schedules.
- Coordinate business initiatives, personal assignments and errands when required.
- Attend meetings and business functions when required, record key outcomes and follow up on action items.
- Handle confidential business and personal information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Act as a key point of contact between the Managing Director, internal teams, clients and external stakeholders.
- Liaise and communicate with China-based clients in Mandarin on behalf of the Managing Director.
- Manage and prioritise communications, ensuring important matters are followed up and escalated when necessary.
- Provide personal administrative support to the Managing Director when required.
- Conduct research, gather information and prepare insights to support the MD’s business and personal planning.
- Assist the MD in managing priorities and day-to-day matters.
- Handle ad-hoc duties and assignments as directed by the Managing Director.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Secretarial Studies or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary or similar role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Mature, responsible, resourceful and able to work independently.
- Strong command of Mandarin is required, particularly for liaising and communicating with China clients.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Willing to work beyond normal office hours when required, including weekends for business or personal functions.
- Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel when required.
