Job summary

Titanicom Tech Limited in Malaysia is seeking an Overseas Automation Control Engineer (Based JB) to ensure reliable data access of BMS/EPMS for overseas data centers and to coordinate local teams for CMDB topology maintenance.

The role requires 5+ years in data center ops or quality engineering, strong knowledge of automation control architecture, and bilingual communication for overseas on-site technical work; you will drive global automation deployments and supervise vendor activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, HVAC, CS or related.
• 5+ years experience, including at least 3 years in data center operation & maintenance or quality engineering.
• Familiar with automation control system architecture and logic optimization.
• Proficient with BMS/EPMS systems and infrastructure equipment; know Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, MQTT.
• Coding/scripting skills (Python) preferred.
• Bilingual communication capable for independent on-site technical work overseas and document writing.
• Cross-department collaboration and strong execution.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable data access of BMS/EPMS for overseas data centers.

• Supervise on-site changes by vendors and oversee deployment, commissioning and configuration.

Job description

Overseas Automation Control Engineer (Based JB)

1) Ensure reliable data access of BMS/EPMS systems for overseas data centers.

2) Coordinate local FM/FE teams to develop, conduct spot checks and continuously maintain CMDB topology diagrams.

3) Organize local teams to carry out investigation, access, governance and optimization of EMS measurement points.

4) Lead local FM/FE teams to implement alarm convergence, EOP linkage, as well as formulate and drill emergency response execution strategies.

5) Conduct evaluation on technical optimization for automation control discipline, and develop standardized solutions for recurring issues.

6) Take charge of special risk inspection, change review, operation & maintenance technical optimization assessment, maintenance review and global on-site audit for automation control.

7) Drive the implementation of key automation control technologies in global data centers to commit stable operation of equipment automation systems.

8) Supervise on-site change activities performed by vendors, and be responsible for system deployment, commissioning, operation, optimization and strategy configuration.

Job Requirement:

1) Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, HVAC, Computer Science or related disciplines.

2) Minimum 5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years in data center operation & maintenance management or quality engineering.

3) Familiar with the architecture and operation logic of automation control systems, and aware of logic optimization approaches.

4) Proficient in BMS/EPMS systems and infrastructure equipment; familiar with mainstream communication protocols including Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, MQTT, etc.

5) Capable of system deployment, commissioning, operation, optimization and strategy configuration. Coding/scripting skills (Python/Shell, etc.) are preferred.

6) Possess bilingual communication capabilities able to conduct independent on-site technical communication overseas and compose technical documents.

7) Demonstrate cross-departmental, cross-team and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with strong execution and sense of responsibility.

8) Work closely with local FM/FE teams to facilitate the construction and implementation of IDC control systems from monitoring to automatic control.
